Bob Dylan Chronicles Volume One

Bob Dylan Chronicles Volume One

Plot: A great trip into the early life of a master at the world of music.

My Review and Thoughts:

This is a powerful get to know, the legend book. A superb read of a musical genius start. A well written chronicle of amazing insight of this powerful musical icon. I have always been one of the biggest Dylan fans, I own all his Albums. He is a true one of a kind master of word and sound that touches the very soul of the music God. No matter what decade or genera he reinvents himself and owns it, controls it and becomes it.

He is what masterpiece is all about. This book leads you down his path, his start, his journey to be come one of the most influential masters of music poetry that has ever lived. Each page of this book shines with a down in the soul of reality that is Bob Dylan. From playing backup in a club to eating French fries with Tiny Tim to talking about Rickey Nelson.

This book gives the true music lover and music historian an in-depth reality of this music icon. You go along as if you are there walking, talking, singing. You get to feel Dylan longing to play for people, he wanted to get his style, his message across. He needed a crowd because it was his blood that spoke music.

I really enjoyed the focus point of Dylan describing all the small time bars and clubs and cafés he played in or knew about. The dark and dingy atmosphere of the bars and clubs and also of the small time performers trying to get noticed. I love how the passion and love to showcase the art form of music is priceless.

A priceless thought provoking book that delivers tons of information on the icons life from the icon himself.
